Sam currently works at a multi disciplinary clinic in downtown Calgary doing body composition analysis, rehabilitation, general strength and mobility training.  He also works out of a strength and conditioning centre where he focuses on strength, power conditioning,  injury prevention strength training and soft tissue therapy.

Once he gets his patients to eighty percent functional capability, he targets their pathological condition with a unique strength training approach.

He is a fitness ambassador for the Natural Physique and Athletics Association (NPAA) and sat on the judging panel for the NPAA Fitness Competitions held throughout the year in Vancouver and Calgary. Sam’s experience stems from medical exercise in a clinical setting and holds the following credentials:

  • Certified Strength Trainer
  • Kettle Bell Movement Coach
  • Mobility Coach (FRCms)
  • Soft Tissue Therapist (OMT -Orthopaedics)
  • Cyriax Frictions-  treating upper and lower limb pathological disorders with a special emphasis on dysfunctions of the arms; rotator cuff tendonopathies, golfers and tennis elbow, repetitive strain injuries in the hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders.

I strive to help clients incorporate what they learn throughout the program and apply it to their everyday life.  I believe life is about learning and adapting – changing what you do in response to new or better information.

I believe that to live life to the fullest includes feeling strong and healthy, regardless of injury.   An active lifestyle is one of the best ways to live life feeling well and improving physical strength and overall mental and physical health. I will help you to push beyond your limits in a safe and healthy environment. I am here to guide you and teach you, and help you take your body through changes every step of the way.
