One of my favourite recipes for on the go lifestyles requires  5-6 ingredients.  My clients typically have no time to make breakfast let alone eat one before they leave for work.  As most know it is truly important to consume a properly formulated breakfast first thing in the morning whether you are looking to build lean muscle or burn stubborn fat.

Try this nutrient packed morning shake which takes mere minutes to make with your blender.

1/4 organic blueberries

1/2 slightly ripened organic banana (green should be some what visible on peel)

*1/2 Raw Oats

1 scp Vanilla Protein (Choice of protein is up to you whether it is plant/ seed or whey based)

1 tbspn 3,6,9 Blend Oils

1.5 cups water

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend high speed until you get a smooth light purple consistency and voila.

 

Carbohydrates: 38 grams (-30 grams if you omit Raw Oats)

Sugars 6.5 grams (Slight unripe banana)

Protein: 27 grams

Fats: 13 grams of healthy fats (mono -unsaturated, poly-unsaturated fats)

Saturated Fats 2.5 grams
